Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at JD Finish Line. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the purchase order processing for the enterprise, overseeing general supply contracts, and ensuring the effective execution of commodity goods ordering and receipt.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize supply chain operations
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors to secure competitive pricing and delivery terms
  • Manage purchase requests, issue purchase orders, and maintain quality control
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to assess needs and communicate updates
  • Participate in the design and approval of new and existing procurement items
  • Manage logistics to meet required due dates and oversee the performance of major national contracts
  • Consolidate suppliers for general supplies and establish a uniform policy for commodity purchasing
  • Manage corporate credit cards and audit procurement department purchase cards
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Additional 3-5 years of experience in purchasing or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of Google Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to sit for more than 6 hours per shift and perform other physical demands of the job
