Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing and healthcare services to patients, including assessments, evaluations, and patient education.
- Administer immunizations and accurately document lab results and next steps for care.
- Triage walk-in patients and patients over the phone, providing timely and effective care.
- Provide patient education on medication, asthma, healthy eating, and other health topics.
- Conduct wound care, mental exams, and purified protein derivative testing.
- Perform intravenous therapy (IV) insertion after training and validation.
- Conduct functional assessments and vision screenings.
- Responsible for quality control of vaccine fridges, crash carts, and oxygen machines.
- Oversee ordering and inventory of medication and vaccines.
- Follow OSHA standards and identify potential safety hazards.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current MA RN license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
