Job Summary

We are seeking highly skilled Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMTs) / EMT-Intermediates (EMT-I) to join our team at AMR. As a vital member of our emergency medical services team, you will respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and deliver high-quality care, treatment, and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
  • Document patient information, condition, and treatments while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
  • Provide a safe, clean, and well-stocked patient environment.
  • Operate an ambulance in conjunction with applicable company safety policies and traffic laws related to the operation of emergency medical response vehicles.
  • Work collaboratively and professionally with all allied health, public safety personnel, and fellow EMS Providers.
  • Participate in community programs to maintain AMR's image and establish strong community relations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • New Mexico State: Advanced-EMT or EMT-Intermediate Certification
  • Valid State Driver's License
  • BLS, NREMT
  • Driving record compliant with company policy
  • Pass the Physical Agility Test
  • Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
