Position Overview

Leafwire is a prominent player in the medical cannabis sector, committed to providing exceptional service to our clientele. We are seeking a dedicated sanitation technician to enhance our operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct thorough cleaning of all facility areas.
2. Maintain floor cleanliness through sweeping and mopping.
3. Manage waste disposal by emptying trash receptacles.
4. Sanitize surfaces and equipment regularly.
5. Perform vacuuming and floor waxing as needed.
6. Execute routine deep cleaning tasks.
7. Assist in moving heavy items and equipment.
8. Oversee the upkeep of outdoor spaces and parking facilities.
9. Complete specialized cleaning tasks as assigned.
10. Facilitate daily garbage and recycling removal.
11. Respond to urgent cleaning requests promptly.
12. Ensure all rooms are properly maintained and stocked.
13. Undertake additional duties as required to achieve operational goals.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a cleaning role.
• Flexibility to work early mornings or late-night shifts.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong capacity to follow directions.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Internal candidates must have held their current position for at least six months to be eligible.
• Proven ability to prioritize and organize tasks effectively.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

Language and Communication Skills:

Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential. You will interact with individuals at all levels of the organization and must be able to present information clearly in both one-on-one and small group settings.

Mathematical Skills:

Basic mathematical skills are necessary for performing calculations related to cleaning tasks.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense and follow instructions in various formats is required.
