Faculty Group Practice Patient Care Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Faculty Group Practice Patient Care Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide patient care and support services, including vital sign collection, lab specimen collection, and escorting patients to exam rooms.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as registration, scheduling, and data entry.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Patient Care Assistant or Medical Assistant within the last two years.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Medical Assistant certification preferred.
- Proficiency in venipuncture and phlebotomy preferred.
