Switchboard Electrician

Electrical Power Products, Inc. is seeking a skilled Switchboard Electrician to join our production and assembly team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics to ensure accurate installation.
• Operate shop tools and equipment to complete tasks efficiently.
• Install and wire instruments from simple layout sketches or prints, wiring diagrams, or schematics.
• Install various types of nameplates and ensure accurate labeling.
• Identify and report any errors or discrepancies in work, including layout prints, wiring diagrams, or schematics.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Ability to assist and support colleagues.

Physical Demands:

• Continuous speaking, hearing, and seeing (close up, distance, and depth perception).
• Frequent standing, crouching, stooping, kneeling, reaching, climbing, and handling.
• Commonly lifting/moving up to 40 lbs. individually.
• Occasional lifting/moving with assistance.
• Exposure to loud noises, drilling, cutting, banging, and typical manufacturing production physical hazards.
