Compensation: $2,242.00 per week
Medical Specialty: Emergency Room
Standard Shift: Nights
Weekly Schedule: 3 shifts of 12 hours
Role Responsibilities:
The Emergency Room RN will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in the Emergency Department, including assisting with boarder patients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in emergency nursing with a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the ED.
Patient Ratios: Comfortable with a 6:1 patient ratio.
Uniform: Solid Black Scrubs
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in the Emergency Department
- Proficiency in venipuncture and IV starts
- Familiarity with EPIC software within the last 12 months
Required Education:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher from a Board Approved Program
Certifications & Licensure:
- Current RN License issued by the Ohio State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification (American Heart Association) and NIH certification
