Otolaryngology Advanced Practice Provider

The role of an Otolaryngology Advanced Practice Provider encompasses the management of patients with ear, nose, and throat (ENT) conditions. This position involves collaboration with physicians to ensure comprehensive care for individuals experiencing ENT-related issues. The mid-level provider operates with a degree of autonomy to deliver high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Medical Director on clinical protocols.
- Perform thorough physical, cognitive, and functional assessments.
- Request necessary diagnostic evaluations.
- Execute minor medical procedures.
- Develop and implement patient treatment strategies.
- Work in harmony with the ENT clinic team.
- This role does not include hospital call duties.
Qualifications Required
- Valid licensure as a Physician Assistant (P.A.) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).
- A minimum of two years of experience in ENT.
- Experience with endoscopic procedures.
- Demonstrated energy, compassion, and self-motivation.
- Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in PC-based computer applications.
Supervisory Duties
This position does not entail supervisory responsibilities.
Licenses and Certifications
Must hold a current license as a Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Illinois.
All staff members are required to provide proof of vaccination or an exemption.
Compensation
Salary is competitive and includes productivity-based incentive compensation.
