Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and troubleshoot audiovisual presentation challenges and equipment malfunctions.
- Offer both remote and on-site support, guiding non-technical staff through troubleshooting processes with clear, step-by-step instructions.
- Conduct routine and emergency maintenance on equipment, including installation, part replacement, and comprehensive cleaning of projection systems.
- Calibrate video and audio equipment to ensure optimal performance, including adjustments for image quality and sound synchronization.
- Maintain high presentation standards at significant film events and screenings.
- Travel regularly within the metropolitan area and occasionally to other locations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and repair electronic equipment.
- Experience in providing technical training to peers.
- At least 2 years of experience with professional audiovisual systems.
- Understanding of AV system designs and modern audio/video formats.
- Familiarity with AV testing tools such as oscilloscopes and SPL meters.
- Proficient in computer applications, including word processing and spreadsheets.
- Experience with basic network troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring mobility.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Knowledge of commercial Digital Cinema technology.
- Experience with distributed audio systems and control systems.
- Familiarity with digital signage and LED display systems.
- Ability to solder and terminate cables.
- Relevant professional certifications.
