Job DescriptionThis full-time position involves working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for:
- Implementing safety procedures for patients, self, and staff to minimize unnecessary radiation exposure;
- Creating and documenting x-ray CD copies accurately according to Patient First guidelines;
- Understanding and operating x-ray and processing equipment correctly;
- Filing and maintaining all x-ray paperwork;
- Cleaning work areas and performing biological cleanup in accordance with OSHA guidelines;
- Receiving, moving, and restocking ordered supplies;
- Attending training classes and staff meetings as scheduled;
- Being available as needed to support center operations;
As a Radiologic Technologist, you will work closely with physicians and nurses to provide excellent patient care and adhere to established policies and procedures.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you must have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent;
- Keyboarding experience;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- One year of clerical experience (preferred);
- One year of clinical experience (preferred);
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT);
- Licensure to practice as a Radiologic Technologist or Limited Radiologic Technologist by the Virginia Board of Health Professions (or Maryland Board of Physicians, or New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection).
We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, and an excellent benefits package, including:
