About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and skilled Fiber and Copper Network Technician to join our team. As a key member of our installation and maintenance team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fiber and copper systems for our customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Installation, maintenance, and repair of fiber and/or copper systems for residential and commercial customers.
• Ensuring adequate performance of internet, phone, and if applicable, television services.
• Complete pre-install work order and post-install service verification and customer education to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Place aerial or buried fiber and/or copper drop wire and install interior/exterior wiring.
• Observe all safety rules and OSHA regulations.
• Able to work at heights by using/setting up various types of ladders.
• Able to work in tight spaces.
• Teamwork - Assist other technicians in the performance of their duties when requested.
• Maintain minimum acceptable metrics with Repeats, Productivity, NPS, and Completions.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Fiber optic internet and home phone service experience with knowledge of copper plant and premise wiring.
• MUST HAVE ONX-580 or HST-3000 and all REQUIRED tools.
• Able to lift up to 80lbs unassisted.
• Android smartphone and Laptop (no Chromebook) are required.
• Microsoft Excel.
• Must have personal protective equipment (PPE), including but not limited to: lace up steel toe boots with a defined 1⁄2 heel, hard hat, reflective safety vest, a fall resistor, and safety cones.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer health, vision, and dental insurance, PTO, and 401k benefits.
