We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at LISI Aerospace. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the completion of daily maintenance activities and supervising assigned staff. This is a key role that requires strong leadership and technical skills to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Maintenance Activities
- Oversee the completion of daily maintenance tasks and ensure that all work is carried out in a timely and efficient manner.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff, including electricians, maintenance mechanics, and general maintenance employees.
- Manage Maintenance Resources
- Manage the inventory of parts and tools, and requisition new supplies as needed.
- Ensure that all maintenance equipment is in good working order and that necessary repairs are carried out promptly.
- Ensure Compliance with Safety and Environmental Regulations
- Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Identify and mitigate potential safety and environmental risks.
- Communicate with Production Supervisors
- Communicate with production supervisors to ensure that maintenance activities are coordinated with production schedules.
- Provide regular updates on maintenance activities and any issues that may impact production.
- Education and Experience
- Associate's degree (A.A.) and four years of professional experience, or Bachelor's degree (B.A.) and two years of related experience.
- Minimum 5 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills
- Knowledge of carpentry, painting, electrical and mechanical equipment maintenance and repairs, and plumbing.
- Familiarity with techniques, code requirements, regulations and materials related to electrical processes.
- Familiarity with common building and construction methods.
- Computer Skills
- Working knowledge of Contact Management systems, Database systems, Internet software, Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software.
- Working knowledge with company Timekeeping System (i.e. KRONOS).
- Language Skills
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to read and write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
- Mathematical Skills
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
- Ability to perform these operations using units and weight measurement, volume and distance.
- Reasoning Ability
- Ability to apply knowledge and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
