This role involves the maintenance and repair of automotive and construction equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are met.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Ability to comprehend and execute both verbal and written instructions.
- Physical capability to perform necessary tasks on motor vehicles and machinery.
- Previous vocational training and hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair are essential.
- A valid MVD license and a clean driving record are required.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify and diagnose defects in automotive and construction equipment.
2. Conduct inspections, adjustments, and repairs as instructed.
3. Maintain computerized records of inspections, maintenance, and inventory.
4. Execute body repair and maintenance tasks on automotive equipment.
5. Perform various duties related to automotive and construction machinery.
6. Potentially service and repair equipment for compressed natural gas vehicles, including compressors and fueling station apparatus.
7. May be required to carry out certified warranty work for multiple vehicle manufacturers.
8. Undertake additional related tasks as necessary.
9. Handle hazardous waste in compliance with training provided by the company.
Note:
This position is classified as DOT Safety Sensitive. Applicants transitioning from non-safety sensitive roles must successfully complete a drug screening.
