Job Description:

We are seeking a Central Sterilization Technician Lead to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a member of our Perioperative Services department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient processing of medical instruments.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead a team of central sterilization technicians in the preparation and processing of medical instruments.
  2. Maintain accurate records of instrument inventory, cleaning, and sterilization processes.
  3. Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure timely delivery of processed instruments.
  4. Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance instrument processing efficiency and safety.
Requirements:
  • Two (2) years of central sterile technician experience, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Certification from an accredited program for instrument reprocessing.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
Benefits:

Salary range: $45,120 - $59,644 per year. Benefits include competitive pay, health insurance, and paid time off.
