We are seeking a skilled Endoscopy RN Registered Nurse to join our team at TriCities Hospital. As a member of our healthcare family, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to our hospital's mission of delivering high-quality healthcare services.
Job SummaryThe Endoscopy RN Registered Nurse will be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring accountability, and controlling costs while anticipating and maintaining adequate inventory of supplies and medications. This role requires experience in conscious sedation and knowledge of reprocessing endoscopes, accessories, and automatic washers.
Key Responsibilities- Administers medication pre, intra, and post procedure
- Establishes a physical environment conducive to the delivery of safe and efficient patient care
- Maintains accurate documentation to ensure accountability and precise charging
- Anticipates and maintains adequate inventory of supplies and medications while controlling costs and eliminating waste
- RN Diploma or Associates of Nursing Degree required
- 1 to 3 years of Endoscopy RN experience in a hospital setting and experience in conscious sedation required
- VA RN license or valid RN Compact State License required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
