About the RoleThe Registered Nurse Emergency Room FSED coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department. In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage."
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients
- Meet the Standards of Practice for the Emergency Department (ED) and manage all assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment
- Participate in activities to plan, measure, assess, and improve the quality of patient care
- Routinely provide intervention in emergency, life-threatening situations
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. One year experience in Emergency Services (ED) (ER) (FSED).
