Job Summary:

The DC 3rd Class Engineer will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of all equipment in their plant during their watch.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Observe and interpret readings on gauges, meters, and charts to ensure safe and efficient operation of the system and to meet demands for the service provided;
  • Record various aspects of the system's operation in logs;
  • Keep the engines, machinery, and equipment of the system in good working order;
  • May direct and coordinate activities of other workers in performing tasks directly related to operating and maintaining the system or systems;
  • Experience working with air handler units is preferred.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of a DC 3rd Class Engineer's License is required; a DC 1st Class Engineer's License is preferred;
  • Ability to gain clearance/access to a federal facility as governed by the customer;
  • Experience using MAXIMO is preferred;
  • Experience using Energy Management System (EMS)/BAS;
  • Experience working with chillers and pumps.
Benefits:

Melwood & Eggleston Enterprises, LLC offers a competitive rate of pay: $37.87. Core hours are 6 am to 2 pm, Monday - Friday.
