Flight Instructor

AirQuest Aviation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Flight Instructor to join our team. As a Flight Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching students how to fly in a variety of settings, using methods that include textbook and web-based education, simulators, and live flight training in accordance with a structured curriculum.

• Provide instruction in the classroom, remote, and live flight environment
• Train students in subjects such as aircraft systems, aerodynamics, handling emergencies, aircraft navigation, and radio operation
• Regularly assess students to ensure successful progress through the flight course
• Accurately maintain student records and report student progress
• Meet with and recruit new customers, conduct tours, and introductory meetings
• Report on students' progress to the Lead Flight Instructor or General Manager

• FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) SEL
• FAA Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII) preferred but not mandatory
• Current FAA Medical Certificate 3rd Class, 2nd class preferred but not mandatory
• Excellent verbal, oral, and written communication skills

• Works both indoors and outdoors

• CFI is required; CFII is preferred

This is a Part 61/91 position, which requires the successful candidate to work as a Primary Flight Instructor for our Part 61 Flight School and Cirrus Training Center. The successful candidate will be safety-oriented, possess strong leadership skills, and embody exceptional customer service.

This position may allow for advancement opportunities into our Cirrus Training Center and our FAA Part 135 operation upon meeting company required minimums.
