Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care and Support
    • Assist patients with walking, transfers, and dressing as needed.
    • Collect patient information, take vitals, and perform screenings as per provider guidelines.
    • Relay instructions to patients and families.
  • Administrative and Clinical Tasks
    • Send and receive patient medical records in accordance with HIPAA and other state and federal regulations.
    • Prepare patient rooms, set up instruments, and equipment according to department protocol.
    • Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and level one labs.
    • Document patient information into the medical record.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Answer calls and provide pertinent information to patients and families.
    • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Education and Certification
    • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
    • Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology are essential.
    • CPR certification and compliance with regulatory agencies are mandatory.
