Key Responsibilities:
The tasks you will undertake include:
- Conducting inspections on ongoing municipal construction projects related to water, roads/utilities, and wastewater.
- Performing construction administration duties, including documenting project activities and communicating with project managers.
- Executing construction staking and site surveys.
- Assisting with CAD work and project cost estimations.
- Preparing plans for infrastructure projects using Civil3D software.
- Drafting specifications, bidding documents, and regulatory permits.
- Compiling technical reports for various projects.
- Managing project administration tasks, including attending client meetings.
- Receiving training and mentorship in project management and client relations.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
What you bring to the table:
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam is preferred.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Previous internship or co-op experience in civil engineering is essential.
- Prior experience in construction inspection is advantageous.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD is a plus.
- A strong desire to learn about municipal engineering within the consulting sector.
- Authorization to work in the United States is required.
