Job Title: Industrial Electrician

U. S. Steel is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and operating a broad range of electrical systems and equipment in a heavy industrial environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment
  • Work with schematics, AC/DC systems, and PLCs
  • May be required to work at heights and/or in confined spaces
  • May work alone with minimal supervision or with other maintenance technicians
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least one year of manufacturing and/or industrial experience as an Electrician, relevant military experience, or equivalent education
  • Must pass an on-site written and hands-on assessment
