Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a front-line customer service representative, greeting customers, taking their order in a friendly manner, and ensuring they receive the right items.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by constantly being aware of and checking to assure that all areas of the bakery are clean and supplied, and following proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
  • Prepare products, check for quality, and assure presentation and stocking.
  • Provide fast, timely, and accurate service by communicating, organizing tasks, and working as part of a team.
  • Suggestive sell and keep customers informed and aware of products and promotions.
  • Assist in financial accountability by correctly recording orders, receiving and giving change, and counting the drawer.
  • Act as a role model and leadership support with customers and staff, and provide on-the-job training for new associates.
  • Work with others in a team to support operations, standards, and concept essence.
  • Be flexible and able to deal with changes, difficult customers, and emergencies or problems in the store.
