Job Title: Research Scientist

Vantage Hemp Co is seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our team. As a Research Scientist, you will play a key role in the research and development of new products at our state-of-the-art hemp extraction facility in Greeley, CO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research studies to further the company's research for existing and new product lines.
  • Develop and implement new processes for large-scale production, including distillation, extraction, crystalizing, and winterization.
  • Research and gather data, write and edit research briefs, plans, and project proposals.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to report findings and progress.
  • Maintain accurate records and notebooks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Biochemistry required.
  • Masters degree in a related scientific field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a lab conducting chemical research and/or development.
  • Knowledge of GMP requirements, ICH/FDA Guidelines.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary: $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 (depending on experience)
  • Paid time off (3 weeks), 80 hours of sick time, and Employer-paid health and dental coverage for the employee only.
