Salary Range: $19.36-$26.36 per hour (based on full-time 40 hours/week)

**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Endoscopy Specialist to join our team at Emory Saint Joseph Hospital. This individual will be responsible for assisting physicians with routine and complex gastro-intestinal diagnostic procedures, orienting and training lower-level technicians, and ensuring the quality of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist physicians in performing endoscopic procedures, including gastroscopy, colonoscopy, and others
  • Orient and train lower-level technicians on equipment operation and procedure protocols
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment during procedures, adhering to infection control guidelines
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Perform routine maintenance on endoscopic equipment and troubleshoot technical issues

Requirements:**

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Gastro-Intestinal Diagnostic Laboratory Technician
  • Strong knowledge of endoscopic procedures and techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
