Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Respite Provider to provide care and support to individuals with disabilities in the Dubuque and surrounding areas. As a Respite Provider, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of local families and individuals in need of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide respite care services in the client's home, community, or potentially in your own home.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Prepare meals and snacks for clients.
  • Engage in activities that promote socialization and stimulation, such as reading, games, and outings.
  • Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for clients.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
  • Basic computer knowledge and skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and staff.
