The Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services seeks a highly skilled Data Analyst IV to join our team. As a key member of our Civil Rights Office, you will be responsible for performing complex data analytics and research work related to civil rights, Equal Opportunity, and Equal Employment Opportunity in programs and services.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform data analytics, data research related to civil rights in programs and services and EEO, developing effective techniques for data analysis and research.
- Serve as the Data Team Lead, assisting in training data team members, providing guidance to other Data Analysts, and identifying data gaps, errors, anomalies, and inconsistencies.
- Consult with internal and external customers to identify data analytic needs, providing consultative services and technical assistance to CRO management and agency management.
- Prepare routine and ad-hoc reports for CRO management and HHS management, assisting management with data for workload monitoring, identifying trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of statistics and analyzing data sets, running queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
- Knowledge of and ability to interpret applicable federal and state laws pertaining to civil rights.
- Knowledge of data models, database design, development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
- Ability to relate and communicate with employees at all levels, effectively communicating orally and in writing.
- Ability to compile, review, and analyze data, prepare concise and accurate reports with attention to detail.
Works under general supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
