Job Summary:

As a RN Clinical Leader in our Pediatric Gastroenterology department, you will provide leadership and clinical expertise to our team of healthcare professionals. You will be responsible for coordinating and delivering quality patient care, while also supervising and mentoring other nursing staff. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff in the Pediatric Gastroenterology department.
  • Coordinate and deliver quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Supervise and mentor other nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Requirements:
  • Graduate from a school of nursing required.
  • Successful completion of HFHS Pharmacology test.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability.
  • Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and medical group personnel.
  • Two to three years of nursing experience in a clinical environment.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Certifications/Licenses:
  • Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.

Physical Demands/Working Conditions:
  • Works in a patient care setting with possible exposure to communicable diseases.
  • May require heavy lifting of patients and/or equipment.
