Our mission is to promote health, dignity, and confidence through the distribution of soap, shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, laundry detergent, and menstrual products.
We are the largest exclusively focused hygiene hub in the US and a founding member of the American Hygiene Coalition. Our distribution has tripled in the last three years, and we are on track to meet our 2030 goal of distributing 20 million products.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Philanthropy to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a major gifts strategy, building and maintaining relationships with major donors, and securing funding to support our mission.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a major gifts strategy to retain and grow our base of existing major individual donors and attract new major donors.
- Build and maintain relationships with major donors, including existing and prospective donors, and support the CEO, Board Chair, and Board members with their stewardship.
- Oversee the overall individual giving strategy and implementation, including the development of a system to ensure proper stewardship and continued engagement.
- Collaborate with the team to successfully launch a growth campaign to fund the next three years of growth.
We are seeking a candidate with at least 5 years' experience in professional fundraising, a proven track record of major donor fundraising/development experience, and a college degree. The ideal candidate will have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people, an entrepreneurial mindset, creative problem-solving skills, and attention to detail and strong project management skills.
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, have proficiency with CRM and donor management systems, and be able to work independently and with a small, fast-paced team. Schedule flexibility is a must, including evenings, early mornings, and occasional weekends.
