CHRISTUS Spohn is seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team in a travel position. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including acute respiratory failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and pneumonia.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of acute care experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
  • Minimum 3 years of ICU experience.
  • Experience with trauma or stroke patients is preferred.
  • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts.
  • Current RRT licensure and BLS certification.
