Job Overview

The Foreclosure Attorney role at Robertson, Anschutz, Schneid, Crane & Partners, PLLC presents a unique opportunity for a junior attorney to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced legal environment. As a member of our Foreclosure Department, you will work closely with senior attorneys to develop your skills and expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing status updates, legal analysis, and strategy recommendations to clients
  • Handling a large caseload, including all aspects of matters from assignment to conclusion under the supervision of senior attorneys
  • Comprehensive review of all conditions precedent to filing of the action, including review of loan documents, financials, and demand letters
  • Drafting and reviewing pleadings and correspondence in connection with foreclosure actions
  • Ensuring all internal systems are updated to include findings, documentation, and recommendations
  • Exercising the highest degree of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Safeguarding compliance with local, state, and federal foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections requirements, as applicable
  • Participating in and attending court conferences, mediation, and motion practice
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and be a member of the New York State Bar. Basic principles of Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control are strongly preferred. Salary is commensurate with experience, ranging from $75,000 to $85,000.
