Ladgov Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Music Director to lead our worship services and provide musical direction for both Protestant and Roman Catholic services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide musical direction for worship services, including leading instrumental and vocal music.
- Accompany musical renditions during worship services, including prelude music, calls to worship, congregational singing, offertories, and postludes.
- Assist with planning and coordinating musical equipment and supplies.
- Consult with chaplains and other stakeholders to select musical selections for worship services.
- Piano accompaniment for Sunday Protestant and Catholic worship services.
- Associate's degree in music or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Two years of experience in managing religious musical programs, or three years of specialized experience.
- Instrumental and vocal music skills suitable for secondary education settings.
- Ability to read music, play worship/praise music on a piano, and direct other musicians and vocalists.
- Leadership and administration skills for the Catholic and Protestant musical program.
