Parks Superintendent

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Parks Superintendent at AEG. This is a full-time position that requires a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Program Development and Implementation: Develop and implement best-in-practice programs for management and maintenance of neighborhood parks facilities and landscape areas.
• Staff Supervision: Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff to ensure effective and efficient operations.
• Workflow Management: Manage workflow processes to measure performance and efficiency outcomes, and make recommendations for improvement.
• Open Space Management: Assist with managing open space and natural resources, including coordinating programs and projects.
• Customer Service: Resolve customer service issues and provide excellent customer service to the public.
• Presentations and Reporting: Prepare and deliver presentations, and provide regular reports to management and stakeholders.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in any field or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of five years related experience, with a broad knowledge of complex systems, specialized practices, maintenance equipment, workflow systems, and procedures.
• Licenses and Certifications: Playground Safety Certification, Pesticide/Herbicide Applicators License, Backflow/Check Valve Certification, and a valid AZ Driver's License.

• Supervisory Experience: Three years supervisory experience.
• Technical Skills: Technical experience with GIS.

• Competitive Salary: $83,356 - $123,366.
