Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled LPN/Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Care Partner, you will play a vital role in providing professional nursing care to patients under the supervision of Registered Nurses, Providers, and Practice Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the care of patients in person, via telephone, and telehealth modalities under the supervision of the Provider(s).
- Perform functions delegated by Provider(s) and Registered Nurses, including administering prescribed medications, treatments, and immunizations, within the appropriate scope of practice.
- Collect and screen history and health-related information from patients and communicate findings to the Provider(s).
- Communicate Provider advice/instructions and plan of care to patients.
- Document care activities in the medical record with accuracy and detail.
Requirements:
- Completion of Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience of 3 years as an MA.
- Certifications: Current BLS/CPR training.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing preferred.
- One year experience in a medical practice or healthcare setting preferred.
