Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Acute Trauma Surgical RN Manager to join our team at TriStar Summit Medical Center. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Acute Trauma Unit, ensuring high-quality patient care and promoting a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and oversight to the Acute Trauma Unit, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Director to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Manage staffing levels and personnel, including interviewing, hiring, and orienting new staff members.
  • Ensure the provision of high-quality patient care, adhering to quality care policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Develop and implement quality metrics to measure patient care and outcomes.
  • Facilitate interdepartmental collaborative relationships to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Ensure adherence to patient experience and patient satisfaction initiatives and interactions.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice or compact state required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required, Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
  • 2 years of related clinical leadership experience required.
