About This Role

We are currently seeking a full-time Environmental Geoscientist. The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience in the field and will collaborate with a team of talented professionals committed to delivering impactful projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct field sampling, including soil and groundwater assessments, indoor air quality evaluations, and oversight of general field operations.
  • Analyze and tabulate data while utilizing advanced technology for effective data management and interpretation.
  • Assist project leaders in preparing regulatory documentation, including Preliminary Assessments, Site Investigations, and Remedial Action Reports.
  • Perform site evaluations and effectively communicate findings to senior team members.
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions while adhering to safety protocols and utilizing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Operate company vehicles and field equipment as necessary.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, geology, hydrogeology, or a related technical field from an accredited institution.
  • 1-5 years of professional experience in environmental site remediation and due diligence.
  • A solid understanding of relevant environmental regulations and procedures.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and technical writing skills.
  • The ability to work independently and manage field contractors effectively.
  • Completion of 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training and current refresher courses.
  • Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software is preferred.
