Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly qualified Maintenance Mechanic to become an integral part of our dynamic manufacturing team. This is a permanent full-time role that offers a thrilling opportunity to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

The selected candidate will be primarily responsible for maintaining, repairing, and enhancing the functionality of our advanced machinery and equipment.

This position is vital to our operations and requires a dedicated individual who can ensure the seamless operation of our production lines.


Key Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Mechanic, your duties will include:

  • Conducting routine and preventive maintenance to guarantee that machinery operates smoothly, building systems function efficiently, and the physical condition of the facility is upheld.
  • Inspecting, operating, and testing machinery and equipment to identify malfunctions.
  • Diagnosing mechanical issues and determining corrective actions, utilizing blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as needed.
  • Repairing or replacing defective equipment components using hand tools and power tools, followed by reassembling equipment.
  • Performing regular inspections of machinery and equipment to detect and address signs of malfunction.
  • Maintaining and repairing specialized equipment and machinery found in various settings, including kitchens, laundries, hospitals, stores, offices, and factories.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Applying knowledge of PLC controls and their application in automation.
  • Providing emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during operations and executing scheduled maintenance during machine service.
  • Adhering to safety regulations and maintaining clean and organized workspaces.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Maintenance Mechanic position should possess:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing setting.
  • Demonstrated expertise with electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, blueprint interpretation, and mechanical principles.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools, electrical meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
  • Exceptional skills in preventive maintenance and repair.
  • Solid experience in machinery upkeep.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • A strong understanding of PLC systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Capacity to handle physical workloads, including lifting heavy items and working in varying temperatures.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; a certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology, or a related field is a plus.
