Job Summary

The Respiratory Therapist will assess, treat, and care for guests with breathing disorders. This role involves initiating, monitoring, and maintaining life support systems, as well as troubleshooting equipment malfunctions.

Responsibilities

  • Initiates, monitors, and maintains life support systems.
  • Monitors outcomes of various respiratory care procedures.
  • Establishes and maintains respiratory equipment par-level and required maintenance records.
  • Troubleshoots equipment malfunction.
  • Conducts quality assurance audits.
  • Provides routine clinical care, including ventilator checks, tracheostomy care, suctioning, resident evaluations, care plan development, respiratory medication delivery, supply changes, and equipment management.

Requirements

  • Must be a certified Respiratory Therapist.
  • Licensed in the state.
  • Completion of a two-year accredited Respiratory Program.
  • Current CPR certification.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year. The salary range is based on industry standards, job requirements, and location factors.
