We are seeking a skilled Research Laboratory Technician to join our team in the Central Weigh Operations department. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will play a crucial role in performing various research and development tasks, ensuring the quality and accuracy of our products.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory operations, with experience in media preparation, instrument calibration, and weighing and dispensing of raw materials. You will work closely with our production team to ensure seamless execution of processes and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform laboratory experiments and tests, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Prepare media and solutions for laboratory use.
  • Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment, including balances and spectrophotometers.
  • Weigh and dispense raw materials accurately, following standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of laboratory activities.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in a life science or related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology company.
  • Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a life science or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology company.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm
