Die Setter

US Farathane is seeking an experienced Die Setter to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining our molding machines, ensuring efficient and high-quality production.

• Set up and operate molding machines, including primary and secondary equipment.
• Perform mold changes, including watering, knockout, hot runner setup, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Repair fluid and air leaks, and perform die insert changes.
• Load and unload die-carrying trucks, and maintain orderly die storage.
• Order and manage die-setting supplies, and ensure all paperwork is completed and filed in a timely manner.
• Comply with all OSHA and safety regulations, and USF policies and procedures.

• Frequent standing or walking for long periods of time.
• Frequent lifting or lowering objects up to 35lbs.
• Frequent reaching above/below shoulder and forward.
• Occasional bending, stooping, and crouching.

• The employee must not wear any loose-fitting clothing that may get in the way of the moving machinery.
• Occasional exposure to extreme heat and vibration.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
• May be required to work outside for short periods of time.
