Full-Time Inpatient Physician Opportunity in North Carolina

Austin Major Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled Internal Medicine or Family Practice physician to join our inpatient care team in North Carolina on a locum basis. This is an excellent opportunity to provide impactful care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Position Details- Assignment Duration: 3 months with the option to extend, providing stability and opportunities for growth.
- Setting: Inpatient, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, full-time (40 hours per week), ensuring a healthy work-life balance.
- Patient Load: 10-15 patients per day (rounding), providing a manageable workload and opportunities for professional development.
- Paper charting (no EMR), offering a unique challenge and the chance to refine your clinical skills.
- Support staff includes Psychiatrists, Social Workers, RNs, and Primary Care providers, creating a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Provide high-quality inpatient care for adults, utilizing your expertise and experience to deliver exceptional results.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and manage patient care plans, promoting seamless communication and effective care.
- Ensure thorough documentation and communication, maintaining accurate records and facilitating efficient transitions of care.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible, demonstrating your commitment to ongoing education and professional growth.
- Active medical license in the state of North Carolina (or eligible to obtain), ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards.
- Previous inpatient experience preferred, but not required, as we value diversity and encourage applications from candidates with varying backgrounds.
The estimated annual salary for this role is $**180,000 - $220,000**, depending on experience and qualifications. This competitive compensation package reflects the importance of attracting and retaining top talent in the field.
