Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborating with the Refining business to implement solutions that enable business success with a focus on value creation.
  • Partnering with the Refining business to develop and advance strategic digital and capability roadmaps.
  • Engaging with customers to comprehend business processes, troubleshoot challenges, and implement solutions in an agile manner.
  • Participating in project teams to ensure alignment of IT solutions with business requirements as well as IT policies and procedures.
  • Building customer-focused partnerships utilizing strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proactively managing ongoing changes across processes and systems.
  • Effectively communicating scheduled changes and unexpected outages to large customer groups.
  • Demonstrating a strong commitment to prioritizing and managing application requests based on business value.
  • Collaborating with other Phillips 66 IT teams to ensure quality application support and delivery to customers.
  • Thoroughly following budget management, contract negotiation, and software renewal processes while focusing on customer communication, cost reduction, and application optimization.
  • Making decisions that are consistently fact-based and data-driven.
  • Ensuring 24/7 operational excellence of key Refining systems.
  • Ensuring compliance of systems and processes with IT policies and procedures.
  • Managing vendor relationships.
  • Escalating issues as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2 or more years of IT experience
  • Prior experience working with vendors to implement solutions or provide oversight
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in MIS, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Knowledge of Phillips 66 Refining and Midstream operations
  • General understanding of IT policies
  • Able to lead and guide others toward desired outcomes
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment focused on achieving results
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
