Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Behavioral Therapist in Training to join our team at Soar Autism Center. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with families and develop individualized therapy plans that empower children with autism to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a case supervisor for 2-4 client cases (10-20 hours/week)
  • Conduct direct client therapy (20-30 hours/week)
  • Participate in ESDM specific trainings, growing your clinical skillset
  • Meet with families to conduct Family Treatment Guidance meetings and support, utilizing Soar's in-house curriculum
  • Conduct and write assessment reports for new clients and re-assessments for established clients

Requirements:

  • Must be enrolled in or recently completed a Master's program for ABA
  • Be within ~400-600 hours (or less) of completing all practicum hours to be eligible to sit for the BCBA Exam
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills to help effectively plan their time
  • Demonstrate excellent skills in building rapport and trust with families as a behavior therapist
  • Demonstrate emerging skills in case conceptualization and client programming and planning
