Adjunct Professor of Systems Engineering

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach in our graduate-level Systems Engineering program. As an Adjunct Faculty member, you will have the opportunity to share your industry experience and provide practical, hands-on instruction to our students.
Key Responsibilities- Teach graduate-level Systems Engineering courses in a 5-week accelerated course environment
- Develop and deliver course materials, including lectures, assignments, and assessments
- Provide individualized support to students through office hours and online communication
- Participate in faculty training and professional development opportunities
- Doctoral degree in Systems Engineering with 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline from a regionally accredited educational institution
- 3-5 years of industry experience in an electrical and/or manufacturing engineering field, with a preference for 7+ years of career industry experience
- Industry experience must be within the last 5 years
- Appropriate technical certification or licensure (if required)
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using SysML
- Experience in robotics and/or autonomous systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Comfortable with technology, including online learning platforms and communication tools
