Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Christus Health. This role involves performing a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including advanced imaging techniques. In this position, you will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient diagnosis.

Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans and other diagnostic imaging procedures using state-of-the-art equipment.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis.
  • Develop and maintain IV access and injection techniques for high-speed, pressurized injection equipment.
  • Evaluate patient medical history and potential contraindications for clinical contrast procedures.
  • Achieve and maintain proficiency in infection control and infection prevention.
  • Develop and maintain the ability to rotate within departments and clinics for proper coverage.
  • Collaborate with patients and care providers to prioritize procedures during the workday and maintain high levels of patient care and continuity.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in a related field of study.
  • 1 year of CT experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • 3 years of CT experience in a clinical imaging setting preferred.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
  • Current state licensure.
  • Current BLS (American Heart Association) certification.
