About the Role

Kohler Co. is seeking a highly skilled Electronics Project Engineer to join its team in Kohler, WI. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing, verifying, and maintaining firmware to enable new Kitchen and Bath products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop firmware for use in device control systems, user interfaces, data acquisition devices, sensor interfaces, and communication modules.
  • Work with Marketing and other departments to develop system and firmware requirements for projects and document them appropriately.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components.
  • Design and implement firmware solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of firmware to ensure quality and reliability.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Three years of experience in the job offered or in an Electronics Engineer-related occupation.
  • Alternatively, a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or in an Electronics Engineer-related occupation.
  • Strong understanding of firmware development principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
