Job Summary

We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Logistics Coordinator. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting in the verification and recording of incoming and outgoing shipments, preparing items for shipment, and ensuring accurate and timely delivery of products to our customers.


About You

To succeed in this role, you should have 1-3 years of related experience and/or training, a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), and basic computer skills. You should also be able to work effectively in stressful situations, meet stringent deadlines, and be organized and able to plan, prioritize, and follow through on projects assigned with minimal supervision.


Responsibilities
  • Study shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other records to determine shipping priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet shipping and receivable standards.
  • Help with daily workload of jobs running and ensure details are followed on packaging and labeling of finished product.
  • Communicate details of shipping information that are not on the job ticket.
  • Oversee incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.
  • Direct movement of shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage and work areas.
  • Weighing and taping boxes.
  • Creating shipping labels.
  • Adjust errors and complaints.
  • Be available to cover for different areas of the department when needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Compensation

The salary for this position is $22-$24 based on experience.
