Job Summary

As a Banquet Captain at Enchantment Group Management Company LLC, you will be responsible for overseeing and directing the service staff to provide exceptional service to our guests. You will work closely with the Banquet Manager to ensure that all events are executed flawlessly and that our guests have an unforgettable experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Supervise and direct the service staff to ensure that all events are executed to the highest standards.
  2. Review and understand all aspects of function B.E.O.'s, including contact information, location, and menu.
  3. Organize and oversee the set-up, service, and breakdown of all functions.
  4. Ensure that all sets needed for upcoming functions are set on time.
  5. Prepare and present all banquet invoices for signature and post all invoices.
  6. Ensure that all banquet rooms/areas are clean, locked, and secure at the end of the shift.
  7. Attend pre-con meetings in the absence of the Banquet Manager.
  8. Ensure safety in service and function areas.
  9. Act as an ambassador of Enchantment by speaking positively of the Resort at all times.
  10. Foster a work environment of teamwork and mutual service by assisting co-workers and other departments as necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.
Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior banquet or supervisory experience necessary. Must be able to interpret and follow directions related to BEO's. Must be neat and well-groomed at all times. Needs to be flexible, self-motivated, positive, and have a professional attitude towards guests, co-workers, and management. Must maintain current food handler's certification. Prior supervisory skills desired. English skills necessary to communicate with guests. Computer skills helpful. Must be organized and detail-oriented.

Physical Requirements

Lifting and carrying up to 45 lbs. 50% walking, lifting, and bending. 50% standing. Hearing and manual dexterity. Distance vision 1-3 feet. Ability to work in all types of weather conditions. Ability to drive a golf cart on occasion as necessary.
