Responsibilities:- Collect patient histories and perform physical exams
- IVC placement and venipuncture
- Surgery Prep, monitoring anesthesia and postoperative care of the patient (recovery)
- Dentals and dental radiographs
- Maintain patient records
- Client education and communication
- Perform and assist with diagnostic imaging, laboratory tests, and other diagnostic procedures
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and other prescribed treatments
- Collaborate with veterinarians, fellow veterinary technicians, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions
- Current licensure as a Veterinary Technician in the state of Washington
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in veterinary technology or a related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience as a veterinary technician or in a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Competitive hourly rate: $24-$30/hour
- Full-time opportunities with 4 x 10 hour shifts
