Focus Staff is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Travel MRI Technologist to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia.
Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and experienced MRI Technologist to work on a travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in magnetic resonance imaging and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:- Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
- Under the direction of the Chief of Radiology and the Imaging Services Director, perform related technological functions to ensure optimal diagnostic quality of patient care.
- Interview patients to explain magnetic resonance imaging procedures and address their concerns.
- Ensure patient and staff safety by explaining safety protocols and monitoring patients via closed-circuit TV.
- Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees.
- Two years of continuous recent experience as a MRI Technologist and be fully proficient in all duties required of a MRI Technologist II.
- License in the required state.
- BLS certification.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
- Ability to learn applications relevant to the position.
- Pay depends on location and experience.
