About the Job:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Release Coordinator to join our team at the Veterans Sourcing Group. This role involves managing application releases in a fast-paced dynamic environment and working closely with Engineering, Build, and QA teams to plan releases as per defined milestones.

The successful candidate will have 7-10 years of experience managing projects and programs as part of release. They should have a solid understanding of project and program management techniques, methodologies, and best practices. Proficiency in using Project management tools such as MS Project and Smartsheet is required, along with working knowledge of SharePoint, ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence.

A competitive salary of $62/hr on w2 is offered, along with a remote work arrangement with a preferred location in Oregon/Washington/California. We provide a collaborative work environment, flexible work arrangements, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to think strategically, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Self-drive, being a great team player, responsive, accountable, and detail-oriented are essential qualities for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Application releases in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Work with Engineering, Build, and QA teams to plan releases as per defined milestones.
  • Analyze release blockers, manage dependencies, mitigate risk, conduct release walkthroughs, and communicate release status.
  • Create and manage change tickets, implementation plans, rollback plans, and artifacts for releases.
  • Lead and coordinate Go-Live activities and ensure the deployment plan is executed seamlessly.
